casey's ice cream cart is a small, seasonal venture based in erie, pa. i was approached by casey to create a logo and a cart design for her new business. the aim was to create something retro, fun, and alluding to a beachy aesthetic. in this way, the mark could bring an air of nostalgia and summer to those visiting presque isle beaches.
in addition to the logo, i also created a simple design for the cart itself, capitalizing on bold, retro stripes as a way to highlight inspiration drawn from 1950s coney island.
the menu is meant to be easily accessible for all viewers, containing very little text and notations of allergens in each product.
i created all assets for this menu, including the product illustrations and the allergen icons.
